For most leather pieces, 2-3 times a year is recommended for treatment. It is essential to consider how much exposure to the elements your leather gets. Something with high exposure to elements like shoes or motorcycle leather may need to be done 3-4 times a year. Then there are pieces of leather that rarely see the light of day, and these pieces need less treatment, 1-2 times a year.
